Copies were mailed in January and are also available on the website, in English, Spanish and French. Comments are due by 12 April. The board will review feedback at its April meeting and then a final draft will be circulated in mid-2002. The final constitution will be presented for ratification at the inaugural General Assembly, which will coincide with the next World Summit on the Arts and Culture.
The next meeting of the interim board of the Federation will take place at the National Arts Council of Singapore on 22-23 April. Topics for discussion will include new projects and the next World Summit, the draft constitution and the board election process. On the second day, the seven-member board will meet with representatives of arts funding agencies from around Asia to build networks and learn more about current issues in the region.
