On Thursday, September 24, the government decided to tighten restrictions on the organisation of public events due to the spread of the coronavirus. The number of people allowed for indoor events will also be reduced. The restrictions will take effect on Tuesday, September 29th.

Local and private museums, exhibition halls and publicly accessible memorials can now apply for up to 100,000 euros in federal aid from the NEUSTART KULTUR future program. A total of 25 million euros are available to enable them to make the necessary investments to resume operations under the applicable Corona regulations. These include, among other things, renovation measures in the cash register and sanitary areas or investments in ventilation systems.
