Cultural Policy and Trends in Ukraine

The description of the present state of the Ukrainian cultural policy was prepared by cultural policy researcher, member of Parliament Committee on Culture Olexandr Butsenko in the framework of the study “Cultural Policies in Europe – A Compendium of basic facts and trends” initiated by the Council of Europe and ERICarts.
The research focuses on the general directions of cultural policy in Ukraine, agents and instruments of cultural policy (administration, financing, legislation), cultural developments and international cultural cooperation issues.
