The United States National Center for Nonprofit Enterprise has just posted a research paper that was funded by the Center for Arts and Culture's 2000-2001 Research Policy Grant Program entitled, 'Museums, Merchandising and Nonprofit Commercialisation'. The paper has been researched and prepared by Stefan Toepler and Volker Kirchberg and sheds light on the benefits and disadvantages of museum merchandising within current debates surrounding commercialisation in the sector.
