INCD action against the inclusion of culture in trade negotiations

Internationally renowned artists have been invited to endorse an International Network for Cultural Diversity (INCD) letter arguing against the inclusion of culture in trade negotiations. The letter, to be released in September, calls on the governments of the world to refrain from making commitments in trade negotiations that would restrict their ability to implement cultural policies. Recommendations of internationally renowned artists from all disciplines, including film and new media, who would support the letter are now being accepted by the INCD Secretariat.
