Cultural Diplomacy Projects Manager

The department is seeking a talented individual to manage the secretariat of the Australia International Cultural Council (AICC), which is chaired by the Minister for Foreign Affairs. The AICC is Australia’s most important cultural diplomacy tool, using cultural projects to enhance Australia’s image overseas and create a better understanding of our identity and values. In this challenging position, you will liaise closely with the Australian arts industry in the development and implementation of programs designed to showcase Australian culture in a range of countries identified by the AICC. This selection process will create a merit list which may be used to fill similar positions over the next 12 months.

Other requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for engagement. Employment in the department is dependent on gaining a valid security clearance. Loss of a security clearance at any time will lead to termination of employment.
