During the last day of the Federal Assembly for Culture, presided over by the nation’s secretary of Culture, José Nun, the provincial representatives of the area are advancing in the preparatory work for the Second Argentine Congress on Culture, which will be held from the 2 to the 5th of October in San Miguel de Tucumán.
The theme which will guide the Congress’s program – approved in detail during the Assembly – is ‘Culture and development’, and the five themes that dealt with in the 15 roundtables are:
- Relations between culture and development
- Culture and the economy
- The national identity and the process of development
- Culture diversity and the right to culture
- Culture and communication. The culture industries and the ICT sector.
