The National Pedagogical University; the Ministry of Culture, through its Arts Department; the National Ministry of Education; the Culture, Sports and Leisure Secretariat of Bogotá; the Philarmonic Orchestra of Bogotá and Acofartes, invite directors and teachers of arts and education programs to participate in the IV National Meeting of Arts and Education.
This Meeting intends to present the progress in the construction of a public policy for arts and education in Colombia, so that the State and the academics can identify their fields of action in the area of arts and education, in its different levels and modalities.
International experts attending are: Dae-Young Lee (Korea), Lucía Pimentel (Brazil), Lucina Jiménez (México) and René Rickenmann (Geneva). National speakers of renowned experience will also participate.
For this edition and departing from the previous meeting, three thematic fields have been set out that seek to promote institutional dialogues around specific themes of arts and education seen as a field of knowledge, and, thus, guarantee its positioning as a right for everyone.

- Imaginaries contained in arts and education public policies
- Relationship between the field of arts and education and the fields of arts, science and culture: contributions to the construction of critical views.
- Is the artistic discipline an essential axis of the training programs of teachers in arts and education?
