IFACCA,
27 October 2010, Korea, Rep

On 15 October IFACCA presented its draft report, Towards Cultural Policy Profiles for Asia, at a Culturelink Asia-Pacific Consultation meeting in Seoul, South Korea.

The report, which analysed the English-language information on cultural policy currently available in 22 countries and Special Administrative Regions in Asia, was written by Natasha Eves, Lisa Cahill and Sarah Gardner.  It was commissioned by Korean National Commission for UNESCO on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea and the Hub City of Asian Culture Gwangju.  Also attending the meeting were representatives from the Council of Europe; Asia-Europe Foundation; ASEAN COCI; UNESCO Bangkok; Korea Culture and Tourism Institute; and Sookmyung Women’s University.

Further details of the development of this project will be available early next year.
