Contribute to the debate on the future of film

Creative Scotland,
13 May 2013, Scotland

The Film Sector Review is looking at film in Scotland, including the following four themes:

  • Learning - from pre-school through formal education to more informal audience development and industry training
  •  Enjoying - our cinema experience, distribution, and preserving and maintaining our screen history
  •  Making - development and production
  • Earning - related businesses, related employment including freelance, related revenues including tourism

We want to hear your contribution to the debate about our film future and your views on:

  • In your view what would a thriving film sector in Scotland look like in ten years time?
  • How do we get there?
  • What are our current strengths and weaknesses?
  • How do we address those?
  • What single action would make the biggest difference to film in Scotland?

You may like to frame your responses in relation to one or more of the four themes mentioned above or to give an overview.

Please respond by May 31st by emailing [email protected]

Your answers will be treated in confidence. Should we wish to quote from your answers we will contact you for permission.
