IFACCA presents to members of NASAA

IFACCA,
20 November 2013, USA

As part of the US National Assembly of State Arts Agencies’ (NASAA) program of Learning Services, IFACCA’s executive director, Sarah Gardner, today presented a webinar about Global Perspectives on Public Support for the Arts.

NASAA is the membership organization that unites, represents and serves the state and jurisdictional arts agencies of the United States of America. Each of the 56 states and jurisdictions has created an agency to support excellence in and access to the arts. The NASAA website has an enormous wealth of information and toolkits about arts support, research and advocacy.

IFACCA and NASAA have had a long-term partnership since 2000, when the concept of IFACCA was first proposed at the First World Summit of Arts and Culture in Ottawa, Canada. Over the years, NASAA’s CEO, Dr Jonathan Katz, has frequently participated in IFACCA events and provided strategic planning advice to IFACCA’s board.

The webinar slides for Ms Gardner’s presentation and previous presenters are available on the NASAA website.
