Manchester or London Office (with 3 days per week spent in Manchester)

Salary £50,485/52,545 (depending on the location) per annum, plus excellent benefits

Contract: permanent, working 35 hours per week

Arts Council England is looking for a new director of digital communication and marketing. 

Your will enable a highly skilled team of content marketers to open up a conversation about the power of arts and culture with all of our audiences.

You will demonstrate a considered management ethos.  We want to recruit people who care about their team. It will be your job to ensure they flourish.

Leadership is part of the role, but we need someone practical too. We are looking for a highly creative storyteller comfortable with a complex policy environment. Digital tools and channels will be second nature to you and you will be quick off the mark identifying new trends in engaging audiences digitally. You will have a track record of producing beautiful campaigns that please the eye and win hearts and minds.

You will know how to understand audiences – and you will have as much experience targeting stakeholder groups as you do the public. you will be well versed in using research and insight to inform your campaigns. You’ll also have the budget and project management skills to be able to handle the scores of projects that will cross your desk every day.
