Traditional architectural skills must be taught in schools

Althoughthe participants in the recent UNESCO workshop held in Apia come from different parts of the Pacific, the common goal is to safeguard and preserve traditional architectural skills and knowledge through teaching them in the education system. UNESCO Director Etienne Clement notes the importance of
education and the role they play in the future of this heritage.
