This document contains a summary of activities on Underwater Cultural Heritage (UCH) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) during the 3rd International Conference on SIDS (Apia, Samoa, 1 - 4 September 2014). These activities include the Introductory Course, the Youth Space,  the Parallel Event and the Side Event.  The outcomes and discussions at these activities fed into the SAMOA Pathway Outcome Document of the SIDS Conference, which for, the first time in the history of the UN SIDS Conference, includes reference to UCH as one of the dimensions of heritage in SIDS.  Presentations and papers on UCH and SIDS by the leading experts were included in the document together with UNESCO keynote address.  The document serves as an important reference in order to ensure implementation of the SAMOA Pathway Outcome Document in the area of UCH for SIDS sustainable development in the coming years.
