During the meeting parties discussed various topics concerning the development of cooperation relations from the culture field between those two countries, in the context of the cooperation Program in the culture domain for 2015-2018 years, signed on 18 February, last year during the working visit of Minister of Culture of The Republic of Moldova in China.
At the beginning of the meeting Monica Babuc spoke about positive evolutions in the development of the bilateral cooperation in culture field, mentioning a lot of cultural events held in Moldova with the participation of artists from China including impressive evolving at the International Festival of Music "Marțișor-2014" of the famous group of dancers composed of persons with disabilities from China. The official reiterated its interest in cooperation in the several culture field such as museums network, cultural heritage, cultural industries etc. Monica Babuc highly appreciated China's role in developing of cooperation in various fields, highlighting the participation of Moldova in the economic cycle "The Road of Silk ", an initiative of China and has invited the Chinese to support the modernization of Circus from Chișinău.
As a result, The Ambassador of China in Chișinău said that his country will continue to support cultural projects from The Republic of Moldova, being convinced that the signing of cooperation Program will boost a systematic collaboration with realization of new concrete projects in the field. Chinese dignitary spoke about the band participation of the China Puppet Theatre at jubilee events dedicated to 70 years of the Republican Puppet Theatre "Licurici". Zhang Yinghong showed an interest for our culture and traditions, speaking especially about the art of weaving.
During the time of discussions, it was emphasized the importance of attention extension in the culture field, which is very important in a collaboration between two countries. The Minister of Culture Monica Babuc launched an official invitation to Chinese to participate in cultural events from The Republic of Moldova.
