A brand-new online platform for the performing arts scene, with a striking and responsive design: Pro Helvetia’s performingarts-selection.ch website provides an overview of selected current Swiss theatre and dance productions and serves as a tool for the international promotion of over 80 institutional and independent Swiss theatre or dance companies.

A brand-new online platform for the performing arts scene, with a striking and responsive design: Pro Helvetia’s performingarts-selection.ch website provides an overview of selected current Swiss theatre and dance productions and serves as a tool for the international promotion of over 80 institutional and independent Swiss theatre or dance companies. The selection features companies that undertake international tours on a regular basis and have been granted financial assistance by Pro Helvetia on several occasions over the past two years.

The new site encompasses a brief presentation of the companies supported, including links to their own communication channels, as well as a cultural agenda and an interactive menu containing all the dates and locations of premieres, festivals and special events.  Also provided is a compilation of Swiss dance and theatre venues that are potentially of interest to international partners. It is primarily these that performingarts-selection.ch – available in English only – is aimed at. The platform serves as a unique and centralised source of information for Swiss embassies and consulates around the world, as well as for organisers and programme managers of cultural events abroad, enabling them, at a single click, to access a high-quality selection of Swiss performing arts.
