We are looking for someone who is passionate about diverse arts practice, excels at building relationships, and has a strong commitment to developing talent and organisational resilience within the arts and cultural sector.  

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with and support a broad portfolio of funded organisations. You will need an understanding of arts practice, how arts and cultural organisations are run, planning, financial reporting, performance management and governance. You will also give funding advice for Grants for the Arts and other strategic funds, and support individuals and organisations to develop their applications. 

Internally, you will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues, sharing your knowledge and expertise, and contributing to the ongoing development of arts and cultural planning in the East of England, and as part of our national Combined Arts team. This role will primarily work across the East region and accommodates mobile and office-based working. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join Arts Council England and develop a broad and strategic perspective of the arts and culture sector both in the South East and nationally.
