2018 Conference Overview

TransCultural Exchange’s Conferences are the place for artists around the world to meet with their international peers and those who support their work. They

  • Provide artists with the networks, inspiration, tools and resources to pursue their dreams.
  • Introduce artists to critics, curators, funders and artist-in-residency directors.
  • Connect artists with those in other fields such as engineering, architecture and science.
  • Foster cultural understanding and dialog.
  • Spark countless collaborations.
  • Create innumerable friendships.

They are a Conference unlike any other.

". . I had little idea of what an immense, diverse, and rich experience it would be (there's no way a list of prestigious names can capture quite how amazing it is to have all of those people next to one another talking) . . . The conference already had, and will continue to have, a great impact on me both in terms of the contacts I made but also simply in terms of new ideas, ways of making, and kinds of thinking that were opened up to me there."
