Brigid Phelan appointed Office Manager

Brigid Phelan has been appointed to the role of Office Manager, a newly created position in the restructured Secretariat. Brigid initially joined the Secretariat as the Administrator (maternity leave) in January 2017. Since then, she has developed an excellent understanding of the core business of IFACCA operations, including corporate services, governance and finance. Brigid continues to practice as a visual artist, balancing it with her role in the Secretariat. Brigid has a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Fine Art, NSW (now UNSW Art and Design) a Master of Arts from Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma in Textile Printing and Design from the Sydney Institute. She managed a community arts centre in Bondi, worked at Film Australia (now Screen Australia) and whilst in Adelaide (2013-2016) worked for the Heart Foundation.  Brigid also lived for a period of time in Singapore (2004-2006).
