UNESCO participated in a National Culture Stakeholders Validation Workshop on Kenya’s draft National Culture Policy on 30 November and 1 December 2017 at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development in Nairobi, Kenya. The Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts convened the workshop in order to include the views of a broad range of stakeholders from across the country in its national strategy, which aims to harness the power of culture for sustainable development in Kenya.
