On 8 November 2018 under the supervision of Mr. Yousef Al-Shahed, the Cabinet approved the draft decree on the creation of the National Council for Culture to be the ideal framework for proposing participatory national cultural policies and mechanisms for activating them between the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, civil society, parties, legal entities and bodies.
