Minister of Cultural Affairs Mohammed Zine El Abidine participated in the Conference of Arab Ministers of Tourism and Culture in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Tourism and Antiquities Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States to establish a strategy linking heritage and culture to tourism. Through the speech of the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Tunisia proposed that  the next meeting be held in Tunisia, a proposal that had been approved.
