Film and audiovisuals in Mexico are expanding daily in terms of production, distribution and exhibition; in their development as a creative industry, in the diversity of approaches, in the underlying constructs of professionals and social actors forming them. 186 films were made in 2018, showing a growth in domestic film production compared to previous years.
