Tunisia was elected to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Executive Board for 2020-2024, following a vote at the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference in Paris, taking place from November 12 to November 27. The Tunisian delegation in Paris is being led by Cultural Affairs Minister Mohamed Zine El Labidine.
Together with Ghazi Ghrairi, permanent delegate of Tunisia to UNESCO, he is currently participating in the UNESCO General Conference at the organisation's headquarters in the French capital.
