El 2020 constituyó un año matizado por los embates de la Covid-19 en el panorama escénico de la isla, lo que propició consolidar los espacios de promoción y la generación de la actividad escénica desde las redes sociales, plataformas digitales y medios audiovisuales tradicionales respondiendo al principio de que ante la situación epidemiológica "no podía haber apagón cultural", la gestión de la comunicación más que dirigida a la información se convirtió en plataforma y escenario fundamental de la actividad cultural.
