IFACCA - International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies,
13 April 2017, International

There has been a lot of IFACCA activity recently, so this week we are making it all about the Federation!

Last week, the Board gathered in Buenos Aires for its 47th Meeting, which was generously hosted by the Ministry of Culture of Argentina and organised by board member Iván Petrella, Secretary for Federal Integration and International Cooperation at the Ministry. The Board covered a full agenda; discussed future plans for the organisation; and confirmed details for the 8th World Summit on Arts and Culture. A formal agreement between IFACCA and the hosts, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture's National Department of Culture and the Arts (JKKN), Malaysia was signed and we can now confirm that the Summit will take place on 11-14 March 2019, in Kuala Lumpur. We are also pleased to announce that IFACCA has been admitted to official partnership with UNESCO as an NGO with consultative status.
