UNESCO in March this year asked 24 leading experts with multidisciplinary experience in the ethics of artificial intelligence to develop a draft recommendation on the ethics of AI.
UNESCO’s Information for All Programme (IFAP) looks to the future and begins shaping a new strategic plan as its Intergovernmental Council meets for the 11th time since the programme’s creation in 2001. From 22 to 25 September, experts, specialists and diplomats from the 22 Member States composing the IFAP Council will come together online and explore future orientations in the implementation of the Programme.
As part of UCF's membership in the IFACCA network, the first online exchange of UCF with representatives of the Danish Arts Foundation took place. Representatives of international, expert and analytical departments exchanged experiences with colleagues from Denmark on creating a strategy and methodology for competitive selection, discussed the nuances of the two institutions, and shared successful cases of projects supported by UCF and the Danish Arts Foundation.
