IFACCA/Artshub,
20 January 2003, Croatia

A conference examining the impacts of the ICT sector on European cultural policies will serve as a good background to the UN World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva this December, organisers have said. 'eCulture: The European Perspective', taking place in the Croatian city of Zagreb in April, will also look at cultural changes and perspectives surrounding developments in the ICT sector. The round table meeting aims to draw attention to different issues related to eCulture within the European framework. Workshops will be conducted with representatives from the eCulture community, with the aim of collating recommendations and ideas for establishing a research agenda.
