The Community Cultural Development Board (CCDB) of the Australia Council has announced a series of international residencies available for young Australian leaders in community cultural development practice. The series, entitled 'Out There, Everywhere', will provide young artists under 30 with the opportunity to engage in programs developed by the CCDB in consultation with organisations around the world, or in a community cultural development program devised by the applicant. The aim of the project, according to CCDB Manager, Bernice Gerrand, is to equip 'young artists with the opportunity for knowledge exchange and skills development at an international level, which will then be shared with the sector in Australia.' Also on offer from the CCDB, is an opportunity for experienced community cultural development artists or artsworkers to apply for professional development under its Skills and Arts Development category.
