The Australia Council’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Board (ATSIAB) has a new look. The board’s new signature design, titled ‘joorroo’, has already been seen on showbags at the World Music Expo in Germany, the ‘Honouring Words: Indigenous Authors Tour of Canada’ and the CINARS Performing Arts Market in Montreal. The design will soon be seen on the council’s Indigenous Protocol guides – booklets providing a comprehensive guide for Indigenous artists and all those working with them – and also in the 2003 Australia Council Support for the Arts Handbook. The designer is Darrell Sibosado, a Program Officer within ATSIAB, with a background in project co-ordination and the visual arts. For more information, Click Here
