Arts Council England has funded major new research into the involvement of disabled people with the digital arts. Entitled 'Getting in Touch', the program will be launched on July 28 at a national conference in Brighton. The event will showcase innovative, digitally generated work by disabled artists and explore key issues faced by arts organisations beginning to work with disabled people in light of the Disability Discrimination Act.
