The Creativity & Culture unit of the Rockefeller Foundation has the vital and challenging opportunity to fully institutionalise its work within its mission to enrich and sustain the lives and livelihoods of the poor and excluded throughout the world.
The Director, Creativity & Culture will assume responsibility for fully describing and refining the unit's emerging strategy, for identifying and developing practical and effective programs to fulfill the strategy, and for building and leading a department that can implement these plans through thoughtful and innovative partnerships with grantees and broader cultural community.
The Director will report to the Senior Vice President of the Foundation. The Director has overall responsibility for: developing program strategy; program implementation; managing staff and other resources; providing Foundation-wide leadership and stewardship as a member of the Foundation's Senior Management Team; ensuring effective communication; and serving as a representative of the Foundation to multiple constituencies.
