Arts & Business East Midlands will hold the first in a series of introductory events to its new development programme for Black and Asian arts this week. 'Opening Doors' is designed to provide support for Black and Asian arts organisations and individuals to develop links with businesses through ongoing advice and guidance, as well as training and network opportunities. The first series of introductory days will be held for arts groups or organisations based in Leicester, Nottingham or Derby. The programme will last for eighteen months and aims to work to build links with Black and Asian businesses in the East Midlands, create partnership and sponsorship opportunities, and gain skills and knowledge from the business sector.
