The Swiss Culture Foundation Pro Helvetia is undergoing a re-examination of its objectives and activities abroad. The organisation has laid down new parameters for its international work, wanting to play a key role in all Swiss cultural institutions abroad but fine tuning the mechanisms to enable this. New items on the agenda include an annual program devoted to one European country and another devoted to a country from another continent. The Foundation has relinquished the creation of new permanent positions in Europe and is instead looking to establish a liaison office and personnel for each large cultural domain of the world.
