CPEG Mobility Scheme

CPEG (Cultural Policy Education Group),
06 May 2005, Netherlands

The CPEG initiative aims to establish an expert platform for the development and discussion of cultural policy education – especially in Central and Eastern Europe. The scheme aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, provide access to academic resources and help in the creation of lasting links between the participating institutions. Through this initiative the European Cultural Foundation is offering travel grants to higher education institutions which are active in the field of cultural policy and located in Central and Eastern Europe and its neighbouring countries. The CPEG – Mobility Scheme finances travel costs related to the following three models of exchange and mobility:

  • Support for Guest Lectures in the field of Cultural Policy
  • Knowledge Exchange on Curriculum Development
  • Fact-Finding Missions to Academic Centres providing Cultural Policy Resources CPEG supported travel activities and visits can match more than one of the mobility models at the same time. Synergies between the different models could, for example, concern a guest lecture given by a leading cultural policy professor, which is combined with an intensive session on curriculum development facilitated by that same person. The scheme provides a financial contribution to travel, accommodation and allowance costs as well as to potential honorariums for visiting individuals. There is no deadline for submissions but applications will be evaluated on a ‘first come first served basis’.
