Casa Asia scholarships for cultural cooperation

Casa Asia has recently published the 2006 edition of its Ruy de Clavijo Scholarship Programme. 12 individual scholarships of EUR 6,000 each are available, for cultural research and cooperation projects involving Spain and the Asia-Pacific region. Candidates should be Spanish citizens, EU citizens living in Spain or citizens from Iberoamerican and Asian countries and should submit their applications by 31 May. Casa Asia is a public institution, founded in 2001 by an agreement between the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Autonomous Government of Catalonia and Barcelona City Council. The organisation promotes projects and courses of action that enhance awareness between the people of Asia, the Pacific and Spain in all spheres: institutional, cultural, academic and economic.
