Young people from around the USA and Mexico that take part in extra-curricular arts activities will be honoured at a ceremony in January. Laura Bush will be presenting the honours at the 2005 Coming Up Taller Awards. All forms of art, from media to photography, from performing arts to writing, the programs honoured will represent the diverse experiences available to young people. All the programs will receive $10 000 for their achievements. "When young people have the opportunity to explore the arts and humanities and discover their creative side, a new world is opened to these students," said Bush. For more information, CLICK HERE.
