Arjo Klamer, Lyudmilla Petrova, Anna Mignosa and the Stichting Economie and Cultuur are the authors of Financing the Arts and Culture in the European Union. This study, commissioned by the European Parliament, describes the various forms of financing culture in Europe during the period between 2000 and 2005, focusing on the state, the market and the non-profit sector. The analysis covers subsidies and other types of public finance, whether direct or indirect, as well as private financing in all its forms: individual, business or non-profit organisation donations.
