Abuja is set to host the largest crafts expo in Africa

2nd African Arts & Crafts Expo 2009
Abuja, the Federal Capital is set to host the biggest Arts and Crafts market in Africa. The Expo which comes from May 31st to 11th June, 2009 will last for a period of 10 days.

Nigeria with about 150 million people, 250 ethnic nationalities, steeped in history and cultural heritage is playing host to one of the largest arts and crafts Expo in Africa. It is envisaged that over five thousand crafts entrepreneurs from Nigeria and most African countries and non African countries are expected to showcase the best of their creative industries  to the delight of over one million visitors (domestic and foreign) expected during the period of the Expo.

Scope: The exhibition will feature the best of the creative ingenuity and heritage of Africans and beyond. Some selected aspect of Arts and Crafts shall be open for competition and prizes and awards will be given to winning entries. The Expo shall comprise amongst others Arts and Crafts unique to each Country, State and Local Government. Our exhibition shall include but not limited to:
