More speakers added to World Summit programme

IFACCA and the Australia Council have announced a further 11 speakers and moderators for the 5th World Summit on Arts and Culture.

The speakers and moderators, who will address various aspects of the Summit theme of ‘Creative Intersections’, will bring perspectives from a diverse range of countries including Papua New Guinea, Scotland, South Africa, England and Switzerland and of course Australia:

  • Emma Bennison, Executive Officer, Access Arts Queensland and Chair, Arts Access Australia
  • Andrew Dixon, Chief Executive, Creative Scotland
  • Edna dos Santos Duisenberg, Chief, Creative Economy Programme, UNCTAD, Switzerland
  • Joe Hallgarten, Freelance educator, policy analyst and programme leader, UK
  • Michael Mel, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic), University of Goroka, Papua New Guinea
  • Scott Rankin, Creative Director, Big hART, Australia
  • Shane Simpson, Special Counsel, Simpsons Solicitors, Australia
  • Moira Sinclair, Excutive Director, London, Arts Council England
  • Mike van Graan, Secretary General, Arterial Network, South Africa
  • Louise Walsh, Director, Artsupport Australia
