The Ministry of Culture promotes during the one month period, the program "Creative Holidays" which is aimed at children and youth taking place in Praia e do Mindelo. This initiative has the support of several institutions and people linked to culture and involves different departments of the Ministry of Culture.
The program "Creative Holidays" started on 14th of August 2012 and it includes a series of cultural-pedagogical teaching, taking place at a time when children enjoy their summer vacation.
All programming of "Creative Holidays" has as its main purpose to promote and bring together cultural activities for the younger generation, transforming culture to a knowledge domain accessible to all.
Until 14 September, during the period of one month, young people can choose and try a wide cultural program, which includes workshops and thematic workshops in dance, music, theatre, poetry, short story, visits to museums and historical institutions, presentations, games, among many other activities.
