We are pleased to announce the launch of the website for the 6th World Summit on Arts and Culture to be held in Santiago de Chile on 13-16 January 2014.
Through the theme of Creative Times: new models for cultural development, the Summit will address how globalisation, shifts in social and economic development and new forms of communication are generating an array of challenges and opportunities within the cultural field, with an impact transcending the artistic realm.
The bilingual English/Spanish website includes an overview of the theme and the programme, a welcome video from Chile, and details on the venue, hosts and partners. Online registration will open later this year, and will also be available from this site.
The 6th World Summit is being jointly hosted by IFACCA, and the Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes, Chile. For more information please see www.artsummit.org.
