IFACCA and the Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes de Chile (CNCA) are delighted to announce that the brochure for the 6th World Summit on Arts and Culture will be released tomorrow in Santiago.
 
The launch of the World Summit on 12 April at events for the Chilean media and cultural sector, is being held to coincide with the IFACCA board meeting in Santiago this week. Officiating at the launch will be the Ministro Presidente of the CNCA, Luciano Cruz-Coke, and the Chair of IFACCA and CEO of Arts Council England, Alan Davey.
 
The Summit will be held on 13-16 January 2014, with the theme Creative Times: new models for cultural development.
 
The Summit will address how globalisation, shifts in social and economic development and new forms
of communication are generating an array of challenges and opportunities within the cultural field, and on how this is impacting on the development of our societies and nations.
 
Registration for the World Summit will open in June this year.
