On Tuesday 16 April 2013, the Culture Fund with its partners the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) and UNESCO will present to arts and cultural stakeholders a report back on the findings of a statistical survey of cultural industries in Harare and major surrounding areas of Chitungwiza, Norton, Ruwa and Epworth using UNESCO’s Framework for Cultural Statistics (FCS) as a basis. The selected stakeholders will further disseminate the report findings in their respective constituencies.
The project titled Measuring the Economic Contribution of Zimbabwe’s Cultural Industries was implemented with support from UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity. The Culture Fund and ZIMSTAT have jointly scheduled a dissemination workshop with the specific objectives to present findings of the research to stakeholders.
