IFACCA welcomes Jakarta Arts Council as new affiliate member

IFACCA is delighted to welcome Jakarta Arts Council as a new affiliate member.

Jakarta Arts Council works closely with the Governor’s Office of Tourism and Cultural Affairs as the Governor’s consultant on the development of city policies for culture and the arts, and as a group of curators for Jakarta’s arts programs in the Ismail Marzuki Arts Center and other arts venues/events. In the development of the city’s public policies, Jakarta Arts Council works with the government, and in the development of arts programs, Jakarta Arts Council also works with public and private entities. The organisation is financed by the government and private sector, as well as national and international funding agencies. At the national level, Jakarta Arts Council is one of the founding members of the Indonesian Art Coalition. The Jakarta Arts Council is currently trying to broaden its international network.
