Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo, Kujtim Shala, met with Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini. The meeting, which was very friendly, unveiled the excellent relations between the two countries. The two ministers stressed the importance of cultivating further the relations between the two countries, with special emphasis on the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage and common cultural values. Minister Shala thanked counterpart Franceschini for the continued support of Italy for our country and care that the Italian government shows to promote the cultural values of Kosovo in the international arena. He expressed his confidence that these relations would further deepen in the future and that our two countries can work further together to promote the cultural values of our people, including Kosovo's membership in important international organizations of culture and cultural heritage, such as UNESCO, ICCROM-i etc. the italian Minister, Franceschini, meanwhile, reiterated the desire of the government and the italian people to deepen relations with the state of Kosovo, and expressed willingness unsparing his deepening of relations between the two governments and cultural institutions of both countries. In particular, Minister Franceschini noted the possibility of cooperation in cinematography, including co-film. According to the Minister Franceschini, Italy can provide comprehensive support for the education of professional workers and youth of Kosova for specific occupations for which there are no educational programs in Kosovo. Ministers Shala and Franceschini agreed to sign a cooperation agreement-framework, which will enable artists, cultural institutions and experts of cultural heritage exchange experiences and professional knowledge.
