On Thursday 19 September, the Swedish Arts Council and IFACCA hosted an open seminar about freedom of expression and the role of the arts and culture in society, with an international perspective. The seminar was held in the auditorium of Garnisonen in Stockholm, Sweden. Magdalena Moreno Mujica, Executive Director of IFACCA moderated the discussion with Simon Brault, Director and CEO of Canada Council for the Arts; Patrick Sam, Chairperson of the National Arts Council of Namibia; and included contributions from IFACCA Board Members from Argentina, England, Ireland, Lithuania, Malaysia, and Solomon Islands.
