IFACCA participates in CINARS/UNESCO ResiliArt panel

On 9 November, Magdalena Moreno Mujica, Executive Director of the Federation, participated in the panel discussion Supporting the Circulation of Diversity and Creativity, in the latest edition of the UNESCO ResiliArt series, co-hosted by CINARS. During the session, panellists discussed the impact of the pandemic on the sector and the effects on the international flow of ideas, people and projects. Ms Moreno provided an overview of government agency responses to the pandemic; highlighted the danger of sector collapse; promoted the need to address old habits and inequities that have been exacerbated by the pandemic; confirmed the importance of working collaboratively across sectors and communities; and emphasised that mobility and free movement of people and ideas are essential to social dynamism.

Moderated by Charles Vallerand, Consultant (Canada) and member of the Expert Facility of the 2005 UNESCO Convention.
