The German Bundestag today passed the law implementing the European copyright reform. In addition to regulations on the copyright responsibility of online platforms and the ancillary copyright for press publishers, the draft contains other important adjustments, in particular on publisher participation in the revenues of collecting societies, copyright contract law, the preservation of cultural heritage, digital use in education and the availability of out-of-print works.
