Council for Culture positive about new Drenthe audio channels

The proposal for 'Radio Drents', with exclusively Drents-language music - from old listening songs to Drents cabaret and Drentse blues - could lead to the first fully Drenthe-language music channel in the Netherlands. Drenthe is a variant of the regional language, Low Saxon, which is recognized in the Netherlands.
